ok bought this amp a year ago for 50 shipped on ebay just to toy around with

it is the Pyle Chopper Series 1400w Mosfet bridgable amplifier (700w x 2)

do you think that the specs posted are possible on such a crappy amp?

i was thinking the same thnig that is imposible.

700wrms at 4ohmd the amp should cost like 150-250 dollars not 50 lol just wanted to see some reactions and responses.

i actually had a pyle amp for awhile that i got given to me. it was nowhere near the power that it said or that i wanted, but i beat the crap out of that amp and had it so hot that you couldn't hold your hand on it. pretty durable pyle of shit. i wouldn't pay for one, but for free, i rolled with it for 6 months before getting a viper d1200.1.

2x700 (RMS!?) out of an 8x10 amp?? Some grade school logic should tell you that ain't happenin'. here's a little lesson on why you should ALWAYS find a manual before buying a budget amp.

Regardless of the fact that they can't even lay thier specs out correctly - an 80x2 amp for $50 isn't too bad of a deal. It should give you well over 200w bridged. You just have to KNOW that it is a foregone conclusion that budget amp sales specs aren't even worth looking at.

that's the point. You don't need to know any of that to know you're not going to get 1400w out of that amp.
