**putting new alt in HElp*

should i run a wire direct to batt from alt, because alt wire runs down to fuse link/distro thing under batt, should i run it there and then up to batt or direct to batt, wont it have a charge all the time if direct to batt, is that bad? and fuse is 175 amp in fuse link upgrade to a 300a? which is all i got? any help be thank ful

just go straight from alt to battery with an inline fuse

I dont know if you necessarly need a fuse but it wont hurt
