putting 6x9's in a box

whuts up guys just had a little brainstorm and was wondering if i was to put my rear infinity 6x9's in boxes would the sound be different??

They probabely would not play as low due to the enclosures. most of the time they are meant for installs such as yours in the rear deck. Using the whole the trunk as an enclosure.
