anyone have a secret to putting the 1/0 wire into copper ring terminals? i cant get more than 3/4 of the wire into the terminal without alot sticking out. i have KLMX wire

what kind are they? are they the ones that have a crack in the middle where you usualy crimp it over? sometimes you can pry that open more and twist the wire into it, its what i do

your issue is the KLMX is thicker than most other 1/0

its a solid terminal with no crack, i might cut it a little to help the cable

yeah i usualy get those ones that have the crack in em, i think their easier for some reason.. just bend one side in, squeeze the other one on top.. and solid connection

ok i got it, i tried to cut the terminal to make the crack thingy, but then i realized that the copper is kind of bendable. so i bent the outer rim of the terminal and squeezed the wire into it, then i hammered that b down and soldered it. PITA
