Put Some 20's On the Caprice

''' I do it just fine, I laugh at most of the cars like mr. 24, in FL they have the same size wheels, but they pull it off so much better, they have 2s, 4s, 6s, and in some cases 28s sittin stock height, my personal cutoff for any non truck I'll ever own is 24" and they HAVE to be staggered and sittin low. and why do people act like just cuz a car has big rims it can't be fast? Many of the more well done cars have built motors that would surprise lots of people. Handling is diff story lol, I'll give yall that one
psychics says it can't be fast. Bigger diameter wheels always cause a significant loss of acceleration. But they will be fast on the top end. The losers around here don't have fast cars.

Since you obviously have no idea about these things

lightest wheels = best end of story

My cars not all that fast but it does get up and go it has a 307 5.0 with a few add ons with flowmasters. Sounds like a big block!
It would smoke the 24's
um no. Sorry but those 307's ****. I know because I have one. They have torque but that's it. Those engines are not high performance. Not even the vin 9's that are found in the 442/hurst editions. I'd much rather have a 455/turbo 400 combo in my car.

I couldn't get my car to turn those 24's without having wet tires. Those engines have torque but no way in hell will it turn a single 24 let alone two. Those cars were also open differentials meaning you could only spin one tire at a time. Trust me bro, I own one.

well duh, I'm not dumb, that just common sense, its just funny that people think its impossible to have something on big wheels thats quick
Nobody said impossible but unless there is a new engine or a high horsepower engine, its not going to happen until the car gets going. I'd hate to be doing 100 in my car with 28" rims and having to stop.....IF they are fast, they can't stop worth a shit.

that why many people I've seen with gbodies do motor swaps to something with oomph
