Punishment for Fake ID??

My bro and all his freinds are in Panama City for senior trip. To make a long story short, his one freind(18) was buying beer for everyone with his brothers ID, he got caught and is sitting in jail. now what?

Could be a 60 days in Jail and a $500 dollar fine..

Fake ID one is tricky..

5 years in prison and or a $5,000 fine..

course those are worst case.. and depend on a couple of factors..

some of my brother friend got caught w/ fake ids..if ir emember correctly, all they got was some sort of fine and like 6 month probation...maybe some community service..

Getting busted for having a completely fake ID is much harsher than just using someone else's ID at least in AZ. I don't know the punishment, but I doubt it will be more than a fine and possibly probation.

its the exact opposite in cali. Having a fake ID is a misdemeanor and using someone else's real ID is a felony. I think it is classified as Identity theft or impersonating another individual or something like that.
