Punch HX2

I asked a w=question earlier about the Rockford Fosgate punch HX2's. I got some helpful hints and many of the replies said that they had a loud boom but bad sound quaility. What would be a better alternative around the same price range ($150-$250)

hx2's don't have terrible sound quality, but they are not the best in the world. i have 2 punch hx2's 12's i had in a ported box and they sound fine as long as you don't crank up the bass boost. when i turned the bass on my head unit all the way down and turned up the boost on the amp a little bit they sounded fine and they hit pretty **** hard and i only had 250 watts rms going to them. i decided to sell my 12's cause i have no room in my car for a box that big and i'm getting 2 hx2 10's instead. if you are looking to buy some hx2's i'll sell you my 2 12's for $160 shipped.

thx 4 offer but I'm still lookin round plus im broke (right Now). U said u were gettin 10s now.

Besides the size what other differences does the 10" version have if any??

what amp do use to drive ur subs?

there is really no difference but the 10's just require less space. i'm using a rf 1001bd but since my subs were dual 4 ohms i could only run a 4 ohm load, so that's why i'm getting the 10's to cause i need dual 2 ohms to get the most out of my amp
