Publix?

Ya, i will pass the drug test. Never smoked in my life.

I think Im going to do it. Depending on the days, maybe i could work at both places for a week or two. Ill keep my job at winn dixie just incase I absolutely hate Publix. And if working both jobs isnt bad, Ill keep both. I just gotta have time to go to school and get my homework done.

dont work too much when youre in school, youll miss out on being a kid. i know i did. i worked 30+ hrs each week my jr. and sr. year in high school.

I work about 15-19 a week and its really not much at all. I would really like the money though. Stereo equipment is pretty expensive. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif

it still amazes me all the equipment you can somehow afford now, and yet need more? plus the fact you have to come to ca.com for career advice is troubling

Publix is a cool place to work.. I deliever little debbie snack cakes to 7 publixs,2 winn-dixies, 2 wal-marts, 7 sweetbays, k-mart, 2 albertson's, ect, ect. Very clean stores and nice managers. I like delievering there the best out of all my 50 stores

Ive went over this probably 30 times on this forum. I live at home so I have no expenses and I saved up for that stuff for a year.

Im not coming for "career advice" just asking if its a good place to work and seeing if anyone had any experience working there.

So if you wanna be an *** about it fine, but if not, that would be great too.

you gross at best $133 a week and can afford all that? and this is the second thread asking about where you should work. grow some intelligence and figure stuff out on your own. you'll be more successful that way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

They also test for bomb as cat piss. If you have rich parents or got a settlement or something why would you want to work at all? I make about 5x what you will make at publix and only have a 800/mo mortgage and I could never afford your system in 10 years.

get a job at a restaurant. trust me, cash is SO much better. my first job ever was a busser at perkins and i made on average $12 an hour. minimum wage+ tips, i'd make around $15 an hour some nights. you can start out as a busser at just about any restaurant and work your way up to waiter/server, with even better pay. plus you get free food every once and a while.

One of the only companies that willl hire you at 14 years old.
Haha yeah the Publix by where I used to live in Florida had nothing but little kids working there. Going there was like walking into a sweatshop.

On the plus side, it was an easy place to steal beer from while I was underage because the kids were too dumb to know what was going on.

"Excuse me, what's in that backpack?"

"My school books."

Haha good times.

yeah my gf was a cashier and an office worker there. she liked it until she turned 18. once she wasnt a minor, they worked her like a dog. like she has to stay till 1am cleaning on school nights
