just so ya know, the last 8 20gigs i watched go off ebay went for 600-850 and the 850 had a game and an extra controller so that setup was 650+ tax. they're just isn't any profit on the 20's at least not much.

Well I bought my playstation 3 (not the 20gb) for just over a thousand (could care less about money) and have to say that it is well worth the 600 dollar price tag. I also bought a KDL-52XBR3 sony TV for just under 7,000.00 and I must say, 1080p is truly unbelievable. Don't get an opinion on how the PS3 is at a store because the stores only run their setups on smaller LCD's that support 720p resolution only. Comparing 1080p from Blu-Ray movies to standard DVD's is a joke, I will never watch a normal DVD again. Although I personaly am not interested in any of the games currently out for PS3, besides CoD3, the future games will only get better. I owned an xbox 360 in the past and believe they both have their advantages. While the 360 seemed more online friendly, I enjoy playing multiplayer with friends more on the playstation 3 (much easier to see and the games don't run too much slower). The 360 to me was too objective by getting points and all and took away some of the fun factor. My friend picked up a wii, and I believe that's probably the most fun out of the three, but for an overall package, the PS3 blows the competition away with the blu-ray player and being able to surf the internet on your ps3. Every system has their strength and weakness, it's all about what you want most. For me, I'm a computer gamer, so the PS3 is more appealing in that you can use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and in the future, will be able to game with those. I still am more of a movie watcher than game player, and I refuse to pay 1000.00 retail for JUST a samsung blu-ray player when the ps3 has the gaming concept as well.

im sorry, but i have a hard time believing a 19yr old is able to afford well over 8k worth of stuff unless mommy or daddy helped.

i just bought a new Ferrari and a yacht and i put one of those TVs and a ps3 in both. I mounted the TV to the hood on the whip.

chooooooottttt sun! i got's me 3 of them ps3's and 2 xbox 720's in my 450,000 square foot cardboard box mansion. Yeah it don't do to well in the rain but it's nice when the sun glistens off that duct tape.

In general, the one thing that all these rich and perfect people are lacking is basic knowledge about spelling and grammar. Oddly, even though they have everything else in the world going for them, they often cant spell four shit and don't no nothing about grammer.

Actually he's more of a mentor that I've known for years. He got me into Cross Country and track and has been like a second father to me... I could give two shits less about what you think though, because I'm about to kick back and enjoy jay and silent bob strike back... oh yeah, I'm no mooch either, I setup two of his home theatre systems for half the price his other source would have charged, I didn't even want them, he offered to get me whatever I picked out for him.

Look, the reason why he spends so much money is because he has the money. I originally told him, for his "game room" in his house he wanted a state of the art setup and when I showed him what TVs recently came out, he asked me this. Is it better to spend 3 thousand dollars on a TV and the following year wish you would have bought the better one, or save the trouble of replacing one and go ahead and buy the nicer one". Now you know why I haven't been on these forums in forever, because it seems like it's just a bunch of older guys that know a lot about car audio bashing other people's threads or posts instead of adding anything that may be remotely contributive. Now, if any of you want to have a serious conversation, I would be glad to, but if you're all going to give me a bunch of crap, I'll just leave. It's not worth it to come to a forum and make a post so everybody gives you shit. So please, let me know if you guys can actually be mature about something, because if you can't, I'll gladly leave if I'm that big of an ******* to you guys.
