Look, the reason why he spends so much money is because he has the money. I originally told him, for his "game room" in his house he wanted a state of the art setup and when I showed him what TVs recently came out, he asked me this. Is it better to spend 3 thousand dollars on a TV and the following year wish you would have bought the better one, or save the trouble of replacing one and go ahead and buy the nicer one". Now you know why I haven't been on these forums in forever, because it seems like it's just a bunch of older guys that know a lot about car audio bashing other people's threads or posts instead of adding anything that may be remotely contributive. Now, if any of you want to have a serious conversation, I would be glad to, but if you're all going to give me a bunch of crap, I'll just leave.
