so im gona get mod2 for ps3 tomrrow. i went on amazon and from what i heard the single player mode is short but fun. the online for ps3 is so so. i heard some people say its fun , well others say they have alot of issues. if you have the game and u play on line is there any time where u go to play and u cant? lets say cuz the server issue or othere known issues with the game?

I highly recommend Fallout 3. It's non a ps3 exclusive, but a damn good game nonetheless.

Picked up my copy for $20 from BB.

i might check that one out. what about mod2 on line for ps3. im nervuse im gona go play online and it will lag like crazy and i will never b able to play. im sure there will some issue's but i dont wana deal with the bs after i drive all the way home and i wana shot some punk kids in there heads. lol thanks

My MW2 connection is great, usually 30 sec in between games. Once in awhile we have issues in game with host connections but nothing too annoying.

i been readin and i know the first month there was alot of issues. i know there is some patchs out. i just want some of the people that play this game let me know what they go threw each day/night getin online. i want to add i have a good internet connection. i have tell xmas to pick this up so i can do my research. i been lookin on line and i cant get a review from this week.

what did u have to do? did u down load the patches ? when i buy the game do i have to download the patches or will it do it auto? i just dont wana waste 60.00. mayb i can rent it a few days befor xmas try it and see whats up. i know if the online is bad i can throw it on egay and take a 10.00 hit just to try it out.

I read you were looking for a controller, one piece of advice there. Stick with the Sony made controllers and dont even bother with off brand ones. Trust me.

thanks im learning alot, what about mod2 i wana pick it up but i sure dont wana pay close to 70.00. thats nuts for a 4 hour single player mode, and a online that stinks lol. what if i go rent a copy for like 7.00 and see if it works? i want to know if the games auto updates it self cuz then i can just rent a copy and try it out. i would love to pay 7.00 for a few nights give it a try and if i like it i can buy it. im not use to play ps3 i allways played my games on my computer.

umm, when you instal the disc for the first time Sony will automatically prompt you to download the latest version. As long as you have setup the wireless connection or have It lanned up then you're good to go.

The version took maybe 20 min the download and instal the first time. I've had maybe 2 new updates come out since purchasing the game and each took about 5 min.

The single player is really fun but short. It's good enough that you'll want to play it again on harder level to get maximum enjoyment. The multiplayer is where it's at though.

You won't have any real issue's with online. You'll have the usual problem's with host migration sometime's not working and kicking you from the game, sometime's you'll shoot 10-15 time's into your opponent but you end up dying and when you see the killcam it show's you never firing a shot, and sometime's taking a while to find a match. The lagging is really the only thing you will see alot the other 2 only happen MAYBE once a night if that. If this is your first call of duty game be prepared to get your ass handed to you for a while. It's well worth buying though and Fallout is a really good game if your into those type of game's. I personally like Borderlands more then Fallout since you can play online with friend's or 4 random people in a party.

Single player only took me about 4 1/2 hour's just rushing through but if you find all the enemy intel and try to do each trophy you will be in it for a good 8-10 hours if you don't use a guide to figure out the location's of the intel. They also have special op's mode which is good for another 4-5 hour's and also has co-op which really adds replay value to it.

PS3 is gonna play fine online, there were issues like the first 3 days because they wernt expecting such a large crowd, but its fine now, ps3 online works great, i have both and i still bought MW2 for ps3 because of less tards online and i trust my ps3 more, 360 is a POS

people will complain about anything if they can, some people just **** and cant deal with the campers so they say it sucks, or dont have a gun unlocked and say the game sucks
