I use the Dewalt DW621. It's great but the only thing I do not like about it is the shank lock. It is made very poor so if you over tighten the cullet then you will snap the screws in the shank lock.

yea ive had two craftsman and the locks on both of those were TERRIBLE. One of the big selling points for me is the way it locks. Thanks for the heads up on that.

If you are only going to be uing it every once in a while then it's ok but it you use it like I do then it will fail. I'm looking at a few Porter Cable routers right now.

I realllly would love a porter cable, i almost bout one about 2 years ago really wish i would have. If you get one lemme know what u think about it.

Thinking about their 3Hp fixed base router for my router table and if I have the money one of their 2-1/4 HP plunge routers.
