Protection mode

When i turn up the volume loud. one of my amps every few secs cuts out for like half a sec. and i noticed the one amp is flashing a red light so i guess protect mode. do u guys know wat this is from? the other amp doesnt do that.. so plz just heelp me. thx

We'll need more info than that. What model/power/ohms are the amps and speakers and how are they connected? You're probably overdriving the amps.

2 ohm stable on all 5 channels..

im only using the 4 channels not the 5th sub channel

it happens more when i use my ipod. it hapens rarly when i use cd or tuner

You're probably driving your amp into clipping. You should follow the amp setting tutorial here: http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=164826

You should use the calculated method if your unsure what clipping sounds like. You will need a multimeter to measure the voltage and -0db or -3db test tones on your ipod to produce a signal.
