I gotta 1200w sony amp kickin 250 rms at 2 channels. I got 2 comp kickers they are 400 rms. My problem is that I got it hooked up where each speaker is at its own channel, the amp is bridgable so I bridged both speakers (cause the bass is better inside and there's no rattling at the front doors) and when I turn it up the speakers cut off and the amp goes into protection mode, why is this?

oh yeah and each speaker is a 4 ohm load and they're bothwired seperately to produce an output of 2 ohms each so when I bridge them they equal up to 4 ohms

hold up to make it simple I got each speaker like this

should I have it like this to resolve my problem

2_4ohmDVC_4ohm.gif

and if I do wire it like this could I do it from the terminals because my box is a whole but its sperating the speakers like 2 single box's put together.
