protection mode!!! HELP

Hey guys

I have 2 mmats amps, sq4150 4 ch and a mono block, d2000.2...about 1500 rms at 2 ohms....

Well I was installing new rear speakers and I left my radio running for a while. And my amps drained my battery so when I went to play the speakers at full potiental..i tried to turn on my car and the battery wouldnt crank so i got the battery charging and start charging up the battery then I started the car. Everything was good but my sub amp went into protection mode...we tested out everything...fuses...power wire...ground....everything

only problem is I bought this amp on ebay..so i have no real warranty for it...i paid almost $600 for this amp i dont just want to get rid of it...any one have any ideas or thoughts...or know any places in nyc where i can get it fixed???

any thoughts comments would be nice

You shouldnt charge or jumpstart your car with your power wire to your amps hooked up I always take my fuses out, just a start and something for the future to know.

I would call mmats and tell them what happend and see if they can help you out. I have had to deal with them before I had a problem with my mmats pro 10's and they were great but they did mess up. They were to ship my speakers to the local store I bought them from, instead they shipped the local stores order to my house so I had 8 15's 7 12's and 10 10's

I didnt even have to sign for them the ups just left them at my door step while I was at school. I was like WOW its christmas. The store is lucky I am a honest guy i brought all them to him and told him what happend was a 1 hr drive and he didnt even give me gas I should of kept everything lol.

true makes sense...i always knew that i just got lazy you know...i work at circuit city...so we do systems all freaking day...i should have knew that but u kind of forget...but its has happen plenty of times where my battery died and this never happened...sucks man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Doesnt matter just call them, see what options they give you maybe even sending them the amp to have checked out if they cant help you over the phone with it.

I am a honsted guy, thats how I was brought up, for instace I sold a car on ebay and guy picked it up sunday counted cash out in front of me. Gave it to me I put it in pocket he left, went inside and counted again, he gave me a extra 20 on accident. So instead he didnt know it I still called him and had him come back to get it. I just wouldnt feel right keeping that 20 when I know it doesnt belong to me.
