protection light??

I have a Soundstream XXX Goliath 4000 Watt amp and 2 Soundstream Trantula T5's.I have them hooked with 0 guage wire kit to a Soundstream 7 inch touchscreen...I can beat all day long but if I leave my car at idle on low volume for 5 mins. or so the woofer pops (like when I shut the car off) and the amp goes to protection mode. It will come back on if I leave the car off for a minute. And when its poundin it draws 1 volt from the battery...If I got a 4 farad cap would I also need to upgrade the alternator or do I really need either and is that even the problem? Also, none of my wires are loose or touching......and it definately doesn't overheat????

LOL, your running 4kw off of a stock battery and alternator? Have you even done a big 3 upgrade?

Hm. Get an alt and some batts.
