So I threw a crappy setup in my commuter car a while back just to get threw the boring drive.

Well the setup was 2 12" Kicker comps, on a hifonics brutus 2005d.

Way to much power for the subs, I had them wired to 2 ohms. Anyways i'am pretty sure I blew the left sub because you could hear the motor making a really weird sound and the sub also sounded like shit.

Now my amps in protect mode.

What do I do now?

if the sub is blown...it may be putting a dead shorty on the speaker inputs putting the amp in protect...try unhooking the sub....hopefully it will fix your amp

The amp has short circuit protection.

If the coil is shorted, it's the same as touching the speakers leads together.

Dead short.

If the amp is too much power for te subs, keep the Level (gain) control turned down a bit.

Also, keep the Bass EQ below 10-12dB

Best setting is 0db.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
