Pros/ Cons of wiring up a kx600.4 to 8 Coax's

Ok the kx600.4 will be here today.. I will be wiring it up tonight in the boat...

Yes in a secure never to get wet enviromnt...

At any rate I will be wiring this amp up to 8 Alpine type S coax's.. As there is NO sound staging ina open cabin like a boat..

Pretty much the tower speaks need to be loud for the rider 80FT back to hear while he rides ( wakeboarding )

4Gauge will be used for this for those that want to know..

has anyone used a KX600.4 in this manner to 8 speakers??

What freq on the Amp shoudl I set possibly?

Parrallel two speakers to each channel (split the + and -'s to each speaker input)

Each channel on the amp will now be running at 2ohms, which is within manufacturer specs.

for frequencys I would set the low pass to 40hz as the speakers wont really play anything below that frequency (with any volume) anyway.
