i gave you some bad advice. i went off what my mechanic at work told me. i didn't realize that our plows run at 24 volts. i automatically thought it was 12. i wired 16 of them this way and would have wired my own the same. good thing for other people, huh. with the exception of nut swingers such as phyphoestilic.

Voltage stays the same throughout a parallel circuit because there is more than one path for the current to flow.
