propper wiring of multiple batteries...

anyone know where to find a guide here or want to explain to me how to propperly wire up multiple batteries, gonna go with a few kinetiks in the back...

i know that 2 need to be wired in series to keep them running at 12 volts. never done 3 +

MR MECP is correct...

2x 12 volt batteries in series = 24 volts

i dont see where it talks about wiring up 2 additional batteries, i want to strap 2 kinetiks together in my trunk...maybe i missed it...will read it again...

just use an isolator from your hood battery to your trunk

then run whatever batts you have in your trunk in parallel with most likely 1/0 awg wire... keep it at 12-14 volts

Positive to Positive,

Negative to Negative.

That's called Parallel wiring. This steps capacity, and is what you want to do in this case.

Positive to Negative to Positive to Negative

That's called Series, which is what you might find in your television's remote contol. This steps the voltage, and is not what you want to do here.

if you dont knwo how to wire up multiple batts, you dont need a system that needs support of multiple batts

they need to be wired in parallel all the positives togheter

all the negatives togehter

You could do this if you don't mind the voltage drop across the diode in the isolator thats going to the batteries for your amps.

yeah, it is parallel. right you are. wired up 2 for a snow plow. the plow runs at 24 volts. dickhead.
