proper way to disconnect subs, but leave amp?? (for a trip)

Just remove the speaker wire from the sub amp, and your done! If your head unit has a option to turn off the sub, do that too
so even if the amp is getting 12v power, but not putting anything out, thats OK ?

should i at least pull the fuse on the amp for safe measure?

I normally would have pulled the power wire from the terminal block, but thats hidden under the seat which is bolted down so i'm trying to do the next easiest route......

This is on a car i was looking at. Where would the fuse be and the isolator? I don't have a fuse on this car.
