Hey guys, im trying to come up with some promotion ideas for Fisher Customs. Let me know what you think of this idea, or just suggest some other ideas for us.

Alright, here is what i want to do. Its like a raffle. The winner will get lets say, $200 credit towards a box. It can be any box they choose. Here is how it works. I will sell "chances" for $1 a piece, off of our website and ebay aswell. Once i have sold 200 chances i will hold the drawing. Winner will be notified and we will begin on the box they choose. Here is why I personally think its a good idea. The winner can get a box for as little as $1, and for us, we wont be losing any profits. So do you guys think this will go over? Will we be able to sell 200 chances? I could reduce it to 100 or so, but then the prize isnt as good, and i think will make people not want to do it. Any other suggestions? Thanks guys.

when we get some time, we are going to sit down and do a lot of work on the site. There is a lot we want to change, just finding the time is difficult.

I want some feedback on the raffle idea.

Ill buy 200 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

first off, lose the flash site, too difficult to navigate and just a pain in the ass IMO. Maybe its just me, i dunno
I dont know, I see alot of customs shops with similar sites, like Orange County choppers, wescoast customs, unique autosports, etc.

Dont know if a raffle will work. You would need 200 people intersted in a fiberglass box that dont have the ability to make one.

im not just saying on this site alone. Im thinking putting on a listing on ebay, cause if someone is atleast semi interestedm, they will probably be willing to pay a buck to take a chance. See where im going with this. Maybe it wont work. Thats why im asking what you all think.

are raffles allowed on ebay? might want to check that out cause I think it violates the TOS. I might throw in a buck just for laziness reasons, if i win you do my next sale for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

how are you going to do a custom fiberglass box for someone across the country?
how will i not? I can either have them send me the parts/panels to do the fabrication, or i can find a loner car.

Ruckus, yea i was going to check into that about ebay. I wasnt sure either, so i guess i will look into it.

Think about that for a minute ~

Let's say I partake in this venture of yours and end up winning it. Where are you going to find a '93-'97 Geo Prizm to get measurements from?

Or even better (I'm having to use people that I know what they drive) let's say that marleyskater420 participated and won....know where you can get a Grand National to tinker with? (maybe that's a bad example - the interior trunk dimensions on a Regal of the same year might be the same...) But do you see what I'm aiming at here?

I totally see what your saying. But not all the boxes we make are custom fitting. Actually, the majority we sell are our standard designs, just built to the specs of their subs. The custom jobs we do, which are few and far between due to the fact that no, we cant get to every make and model.

And mike, the trouble we go through for custom jobs like that, thats what we get paid for.
