If I remember physics correctly, it would be alot darker than 2.5%, more like 5% of 5%.double 5% tint is 2.5% //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

The way the shop told me is mathematicsIf I remember physics correctly, it would be alot darker than 2.5%, more like 5% of 5%.
Double tint can make it hard or slow to roll the windows up and down. And anything lower than 15 or 10% and you generally have to roll the windows down to turn.
If you go lower it's actually considered "MORE" lolnice car when it is done. I almost bought one a few years back. Going to use the stock headunit and run a external processor? I know you can't swap the factory deck out in these. And don't go less than the 5% tint. I had like 2% on the rear of the jeep I had and backed into my own fence //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
One step ahead of you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifand I don't think that will work on the GT anyway...I think that is for base legacy's but I could be wrong. I'll go check out of curiosity.
Our shop has been working on Subarus for over 13 years. If you have automatic climate control you cannot directly replace the stereo because the stereo and climate controls are integrated into one board.
Most guy s in the legacygt forum either run an external processor or locate a aftermarket head unit elsewhere in the car.
Its a measure of the percent of light that can pass through the film. Its not simple plus/minus math. The way the shop told me is mathematics
10% tint will be twice as dark as 20%
5% twice as dark as 10%
etc....
