man all that work to look good and you run your wires thru there

why didnt you run thru where you will have a beauty panel covering them?

wow looks great. Ive considered picking up an avalanche after the spring semester. A couple of questions for you ( I may have missed them while reading through your thread).

1) How well is the midgate sealed or going to be sealed (where your sub box meets the cab).

2) How well sealed is the cover of the bed and do you worry about anything leaking and getting to your equipment.

I have an avalanche and when it rains nothing leaks inside, its sealed pretty good.

nice. i may have to look into them a little more. Id love to do something like this (probably not as many subs though). Id be hesitant about losing a lot of the functionality of the truck bed though.

The box should seal everything up nicely.

However, about the leaking tonneau panels. The panels wont leak at all on a new truck. However, they are NOT made to have weight put on top of them. Once they are warped a little bit, the seals are no good, and it will start leaking. So, be careful not to put much weight on the panels. I think they are rated for 60lb or something.

hope the box dont move around... looks good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
its got some big L brackets mounting the back side of the box. There will be shims put along side of the box to keep it from going side to side/keep the sides a little more stabilized. Some of it will also be foamed in
