so if you where to run 2 runs of 1/0 power would you also have to run 2 runs of 1/0 ground??
Thats what I did... Thats what I've been told to do and I had better results than just grounding the front battery seperate from the rear batts.

Nice build man! I'd love to hear that sht sometime. I am from silverdale/b-town (guy with the mustang) I still hate you for being a coug though. UW FTW //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

...gotta remember, a good ground is JUST as important as a good power source. as far as running multiple runs of wire for pos/neg, its kinda up to you what you want to do...if the batteries are paralleled close to each other, or connected w/ buss bars, it may be just a waste of money to do more than 1 set (300a alts and smaller). i guess there's no such thing as "overkill" in car audio though.

that score was just a quick burp w/ a sundown 3000d, extra batt. and fully loaded fi bl 12. box is 2.25@33hz, car peaked at 51hz. the extra power raised my tuning a bit, cause my normal amp (hifonics bx1606d) peaks at 49hz. this is my budget daily beater setup here in pullman. its in a 99 subaru impreza rs.

my other vehicle is soon to [hopefully] be a "groundpounder" w/ my 3000d and 2 18" nightshades haha

Nice setup man.

I'm about to start working on my 04 Avalanche this thursday.

I'm going w/

Eclipse 7200mkII

2 DD3515 d1.5

Couple of Dekas

DD German comps up front (glassing pods in doors)

DD C4a active

DD C6.5 comps rear

DD C1a

Likely going w/ my old IA20.1 for starters. Going to hold out on DD to release the new M4 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The box will be a series tuned 6th order I have been playing w/. It is only 30" deep so it leaves me some bed.

EDIT:

I just realized my Avalanche has the same color int as yours.

I don't have the center console though.

not bad at all, probably sounds awesome on music with scores like that in those low frequencies
yeah it does, i was pretty surprised when i first got everything in.

I've used type-R's before, and they are no SQ driver, thats for sure. However, this setup sounds far better than the other three Type-R installs i've had.

thats a sick install were did you get the led's from?
from some member on here, who had a bunch of leftovers. Im not sure where he got them, and i dont remember his username //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
