project pimpedout97: 4 15" mts walled off

well then make sure VJ knows whats going on with his car lol. in all honesty (knowing its not complete) it loks really weak. That could be a visual deal because it doesnt have a back on it for all I know. I would use some sort of bracing though eithr way. You have 4 15's going in that remember...
You did say that it wasnt finished.

Naturally a wall, for 4 15's, with single panels and no back is going to "Look weak".

apparently Kenny's bracing design is off limits?

I think even with double baffle everything the wall would still look weak. Thats just me and you guys can go about building as you wish, it wont change my opinion, nor yours, so it really has no point in being talked about.

Kenny has his under control I am sure. We both have talked to quite a few people about that subject as well as plenty of others to try and get his wall to the best it can be.

I need bags //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif . Too bad my Durango is 4 wheel drive or else I'd have it slammed already.
who says you cant bag a truck with torsion bars? Mazdas and toyotas have torsion bars, so whats the big deal

Im looking to share iseas, not compete with them.

Still tossing a few ideas around for bracing.

anyone else care to chime in w ideas and pics?

how do i know? because its a wall. if you dont brace it....(no offense in this) but your an idiot. You have 4 15's, in a 20+cube box, its GOING to flex.

Exactly, I dont care how sturdy it seems, even after its doubled up, I guarantee even if you cant move it, 4 15's with a few thousand watts will move it easily. I would definately throw some allthread in that *****, it will be easy and it will definately keep the flex out.

allthread would minimalize it, not delete. still need 45's, and 2x4's outside every so often imo.
Yeah I wouldnt say it would stop all of the flexing, but definately a great deal of it. 2x4's have a lot more surface area to hold on to.
