AND

heres what we worked on.....doesnt seem like much, but we are taking our time to make sure everything is as right as it can be.

Test fit of the back (which isnt on btw )

Port with runner boards attached.

Picture045.jpg

those runner boards werent worth a shit when all was said and done, as they caused more of a problem than anything else, and they were removed from the port.

(worked fine in the neon tho)

port walls are in

Paitning the bish black.

looks like most of it is going to have to come off when the port gets bondoed for that seamless look, and it will also help it shine glossy when its painted.

All about the 702.......not the 813.

but you should ee what it says on the bottom of the boards.

seriously, i dont think ill be doing many ports like this one, as it sure was a PITA getting it in there, but it worked out to perfection

Gonna have to sand away a litle of the paint tha tgot on the edge....that was a Noobix mistake bu the painter.

which was not me

Lol

Hey chevy, were you talking about the subs? They are going to be flush I believe when the 3rd baffle goes on (the "beaty panel") that goes from the top to floor (to cover the 2x4's)

But everything else will be double baffled, the sides as best as we can...

Thursday or wed. I'm prally gonna run the wire along the sides, I just got my 100 ft of 1/0.

**** I can't wait!!!!

Pimp, post pics you feggler.

See the lip of the runnerboard that blocks the hole a little bit?

Basket fits, so that is a non issue.

Picture077.jpg

Double baffeled, and about ready to go.

not too much longer i hope.....

thats all the pics for now.....there will be more come Wednesday. At first, the port seemed a tad wobbly in there. i mean its wedged in there really nice, but when you tap it in the middle, it had that bongo drum sound. i am sure you know what i mean. When we but the front piece on th eone side, there is a reasonable difference between the side with a baffle on it, and the side withiut. But i dont want any resonance, so im going to have to brace the wall with some Meade style 2x4's on the port.

Nice job on the box so far. What was the purpose of the hole in the headliner? And I hope it wasnt a pro shop that did that amp bypass in the back.

who the F knows about that thing in the back, i still dont know what it all is, and i am tempted to cut it all out.

the hole cutout was a measuring mishap, to be honest, we thought we'd need it....

nope.

Nice Box...Must say the neon in his sig is ****ing awesome!!! Good Work!! Maybe I can hear it in person one day!!! Keep up the good work! Im excited and its not even mine!!
