umm you do know running 16v on a daily driver will fry your electrical right?? only people that run 16v are trailer queens or external regulators that voltage it up for burps then back down right after.

Umm, you do know it is possible to run a 16v system just for the subwoofer amps right?

Get a bank of 8v batteries wired into series.

Thats what mark potts did last year, and one of my other teammates did this year. Six 8v batteries wired into three 16v banks. They would play for a couple days full tile before the batteries would need a recharge.

If two alts is possible on your car, I would definitely go for it. Less worries about battery maintenance and whatnot.

I have an external regulator, and I'm on 12v. Your post makes no sense.

He's going to build it however the hell he wants, so there is no point in questioning anything.
