These ratings given on 1 ohm ?

As my subs are dual 1's that will suit for both at the same time and runs on 1 ohm so .... I have the feeling that the biggest problem will be the money here, as i have a feeling its not going cheap here ....

Wired the subs to 0.25 ohm for burps:

Now i want to be sure did i do everything right ?

I followed also the Z1 strapping diagram here ...

So my wiring looks this at the moment:

Had only 1h to test so made 5 burps.

Noone was holding the doors/windows and both seats up, i wasnt IN the car !

Was testing 68-70hz and the loudest was 69hz (68 before fiberglassing)

Every burp was over 158db on a termlab

So now final job is to take the subs out and sand it propably, as the box is faaaaar from smooth ....

Now theres a question:

As you know im running 2 x dual 1 Atomics

Is there any point to go for the DD 9918c's ?

Most of ye know them as 9917's ...

Story now is that theyr dual 2s, so instead of running my amps on 0.125 ohm load with Atomics they will see 0.25ohm each with DD's.

What you think now, will i gain with the oldschool DDs vs my Atomics or should i leave them ?

Not the greatest customer service with DD especially with an older sub from what I've been told.

The Atomics are good subs.
