Project PANDBASSA

I dont know if you already said, but what type of wood is that?
1" waterproof plywood, will make it double, so the box will be like like 2" thick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you're doing a lot of power, then your box needs to be thicker especially the back wall.

I had a Yugo which is the closest thing to a Panda in the U.S.

This is how I started the build. The walls were framed with 2x6 pieces layered with 2 sheets of MDF.

I then ripped this out and made the walls out of concrete.

I never finished the project because I couldn't get the darn car to start so I scrapped it, lol.

what numbers are you aiming for with the build again?

also just to reiterate what has been mentioned already.. you need to definately

make all sides of the enclosure A LOT more thicker.

If you'd like I can email you pics of a PANDA build thats going on here at this time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Just PM me your email address

Same time why i need the bottom piece to be so thick ?

it wont flex through the bottom anyway lol

sides and the top will be 2" thick as i dont wanna lose any space and will put a metal bars to tight the side walls and front and back wall anyway ...

Same time i can always upgrade the box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Feeding the subs with 2 x DD Z1's @ 0.5 ohm, so around 5K each i presume

Are you running a 16V system? I doubt you'd see that much without running 16V...
Why ? ANY resonable explanation for that ?

These amps are not capable for over 15V anyway .. if theyr not modded like Z1A is

proven specs:

12 Volts & one battery only:

4.6 ohms = 2279W

2.3 ohms = 3405W

1.15 ohms = 4188W

14,4 Volts:

4.6 ohms = 3042W

2.3 ohms = 4461W

1.15 ohms = 5358W

So im running them on 4 x NSB90 12.8v batts and @ 0.5 ohm

or im missing something here ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

yeah maybe il get 4800w out of one amp, maybe 5100, doesnt make a big difference for me at this stage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Like i said, i think i get ROUGHLY 5K out of 1 amp with these batteries and @ 0.5 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

How many batteries?
As i wrote in my previous post //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

4 x North Star NSB90's, i think theyr even on the pic on previous page ...
