I hope they were strapped...If not, These are the problems that me and few others warned of with one amp per coil, You run into all kinds of problems.

with a single 20.1 @ .5 nominal, The dustcap on my BTL got warm, but not too too hot.

My dustcap on my 12" BTL was pretty warm after burps for about 5-10 minutes off and on with sundowns at .35

The one time my BTL got both of the 20.1s Strapped at .5 (each amp .25) It was only 10 seconds, and it didnt get warm at all...LOL

These were warm and gave a nice smell lol. The amps were burning up too.

Meh...Mine never smelled, and my 20.1s never even think about heating up. I run one of them at .5 Nominal daily, and even after a 4 hour road trip listening to music, it is barely warm.

Mine smelt, but I think it was excess glue cause it went away after the first few burps. My brahma did the same thing when I got it.

So who thinks they accidentially had some 24 volt batteries?

You sure? I thought they were aiming for 78v and with gains all the way down it was 84.x
