I'd prefer not to use a rabbiting bit, and just wrap the carpet around like iamamp3pimp did.

Well yeah the box is nothing special other than being tuned exactly to my car and trunk. Maybe it seems undersized, but I highly doubt he would've give this out as his own work if he thought it would not sound excellent. Only the results will tell.

Bringing this thread back from the dead. I have been MIA for 7 months. Finally got this box installed with my RL-p 12's and a Sundown SAE-1000D amp (500w per driver). Well I hit a 142.2@50Hz on the TL yesterday after only an hour of tweaking it.

So I hope this puts the haters to bed. Many said this box was way too small and would sound like shit. Just goes to show that other factors may affect performance other than just box size. Again - this box was custom designed for my exact vehicle and its trunk size.

I am floored by the performance of this. Once I strap another sundown amp on, I bet I will get 1.5-2.5 more dB out of the box. Plus I am porting the rear deck as well.

Iamamp3pimp - thanks again for a killer box build. First rate quality. Feel free to use me for refs if you need.
