Highly agree with this statement. If you build another pair, switching to active XOs would be the first thing I'd change. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
No need to have stereo separation that low. It is crossed so low you can't tell where it is coming from. The way the house shakes, it sounds like there is a sub in every room!!
x2...I would never add a crossover higher than 50hz for ANY subwoofer...any higher and I am obviously lacking in the midbass department...which would warrant better mains or stereo subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifThe problem is most people cross their subwoofers over too high. I run mine at 40 Hz and I can't tell where it is unless I am snooping around for it.

Stereo subs you are a bastard.Or you could be like me, run full range with stereo subs and cross it over higher. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
60 Hz isn't bad. That is where I used to have mine set until I got the V800.Mine is set 60 and I would agree with your assessment.
I wish I could run lower, but the lines don't match up well then.60 Hz isn't bad. That is where I used to have mine set until I got the V800.
Now I run it at 40 Hz because the low frequency response is worlds better. I just hate the "THX" 80 Hz standard. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
