i found a way to get MP3s on my phone. only cost me 30 bucks:furious: but now i need a program to cut sections of mp3s out. Free..or with crack

audacity should do what you want. It's a free program on sourceforge.

or you can use nero. convert to wav...edit convert back to mp3 and then transfer to fone.

sorry lol. use cheetah audio converter to convert back to mp3

thats wat i use.

edit: okay umm convert the mp3 to wav via nero

cut via nero. save as wav again and convert to mp3 using cheetah audio converter

my phone is a Treo 600..only played Midi..or polyphonic ringtones. therefor i had to buy an mp3 decoder for the phone...

or you didn;t have to. You set the bit rates to 2200 or 2400 i believe, and thats it. Again, you wasted 30 bucks.

the best program that i use for my mp3s for my phone is Goldwave.

This is an amazing software that lets you not only cut down the size but u can remove the bass of the song and then changing the layer, hz and kpbs that fits right on my motorola phone.
