Now you worded it different. I can't just randomly mug people. If I see them take something, then I can confront them as they leave the store. Also only LP's are allowed to confront thieves

The way you wrote it, it sounded like you just tackle people that you think are stealing, maybe I just read it wrong.

Anywho, my store works the same way, we're really not allowed to touch anyone just bug the hell out of them by being overly nice.

I once told a lady to get lost though. She'd been coming in grabbing high dollar stuff off the shelves, like razors and expensive meat stuff, she'd come up to the counter and return it. Where I work, you can return stuff w/o a receipt, as long as it rings up then we sell it or sold it at one point. Anyway, my manager let her do it once, total was like 70 bucks or something.

She came in like 3 days later, with similar items. She came up wanting to return it, I'm like I can't do that, I know you didn't buy it so no I won't let you return it. She just looked at me all dumb founded, like "how does he know that?" The guy behind her in line was like, I used to work LP, I watched her take that stuff off the shelves and I followed her up here.

Dumb ***** tried doing the same thing like 5-6 times in two weeks, we eventually got her arrested. She even tried to run off w/ like 150.00 worth of meat, she shoved it into wal-mart bags, I don't work at wal-mart, like it wasn't obvious or anything that she was stealing it.
