You can't get me
I get this amp and it says it have 80X4RMS @ 4ohm and 255X2RMS @4ohm bridged, the question is next i have alpine sps-170a speakers that are 40W RMS and a kicker comp c10 sub that handles 150W RMS as my signature, can this amp damage my speakers when i volume up my system (when it get picks that i suposse are higher than the spaeakers peaks)???

Thanks to all

set your gains on the low side - be kind with the crossover points especially on the smaller speakers - if it starts to sound bad turn it down.

Follow those rules and you won't blow any speakers.

all the way down then work your way up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif read the gain setting tutorial to get exact wattage tuning.

I do it by ear - I've never damaged a speaker.

Set your fader or disconnect the proper RCA's so that only your subs are getting power. Set your low pass filter to about 80hz, I prefer ~60. Put in a cd you like and set the cd player volume to about 75%, then, like rukus said - increase the gain until it starts to sound bad and back it off a little.

I did like you said by ear and it sound great and louder, but i want to make it with a voltimeter, with voltage should i look for the speakers 40 W RMS @ 4ohm and for the sub 150 W RMS @ 4ohm, and how can i stabilize the voltage cause it goes up a down??

PD: The amp have separete gain setting for speakers and sub, so i can look for the 2 settings.

Thanks
