profile amps?

have that exact amp. great budget amps. I currently run a Profile CA600 for my highs and mids. have clamped it and it does right at rated power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it will probably do somewhere around 800rms i would think. not a good amp you know not something that is built very well, but it will most likely do what you want it to do. You would be able to tell the difference in that amp and for say an audison amp or zapco or sundown.

I have a profile amp for my comps, workin great for me....

like others said ive never tried one of their higher powered amps, but based off the amp i have for my fronts I would recommend them to others...

I have a couple of the older California-series amps. A CA200 and a 400SX. The SX is running my dual-two ohm sub. I like it. I have another CA200 coming (27th, according to UPS) in order to add separate midbass. I can't bench test them, but to the ear there are no faults. No problems as far as reliability, either. Though I haven't had them long.

As others have said, they're excellent for the price. Especially since I paid $123 for all three, as 1-year warranty refurbs direct from Profile in southern-CA. Maybe that lowers my standards somewhat, though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I used to run a CA800 on my kicker comp vr's. it was a **** good amp for the price. I ran it for 3 years beating the shit out of it, and it is still running strong for the guy I sold it to.

Profile are great amps, i have one for about 2 years now, its a 4ch amp, and once my sub amp stop working and i use my profile to get some bass but i forget to change the coils, and i use the amp for about 4 days bridge@1ohm (it is not even 2 ohm stable) and i work without problem until i put the volumen high, and even wit my volumen all the way up it works for about 30 min before going into protection.

When it get to protection the second time i remember the coils and change then back, and still working like a charm.

That is awesome, as far as amplifier anecdotes go. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Looks like the APXXXX revision California-series amps are pretty decent. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
