problems with car door speaker

so i got my door replaced today after someone hit and run my passenger side and upon getting my car back i realized that the door speaker on the new door (they transferred the panel to the new door) is now working at about 1/2 or 1/3 power when the door is OPEN and upon closing the door it stops working completely... any ideas of how i can fix this????

to be more clear, i can't find anything online about what exactly i would have to do to to fix the apparently broken connection once i take the door panel off.. it's a 95 accord ex...anyone have any xp with such a thing?

just run a new wire from the deck to the speaker , not that hard

@01limited-even when the door is open (even though the speaker does have output at this point) the speaker is only playing at about 1/3 volume and i know it isn't blown or anything.

@mylows10-any idea of where i could find a video or website that would explain/show me how to run a wire from the deck to the speaker as you speak of? i didn't install the speakers so my understanding of the insides of my car and which wires are which is almost nonexistent. i tried looking everywhere for a description of how to install door speakers on my car and couldn't find anything for the model (94-97)
