Problem with RE's

I took my subs out for a couple days and after i put them back in i now have a weird problem. When i turn on the engine the subs seem to be getting a surge of power from my amp and they kick in pretty hard. During the time i had my subs out i think my speaker wire might have had contact with part of the chasis or amp(possibly clipping the amp). I looked at all the wires after i put the subs back in and they're fine...but when i moved the remote wire everything(headunit, amp, components and subs) turned on with the car turned off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif... then i jiggled the power wire to my component amp and everything turned off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif whats going on???????? thanks for the help guys
