Can you use the AQ PA 6.5's without the super tweeters? or does your high end complete cut off? I've heard a few mid-woofer setups and they sounded pretty good without the tweeters hooked up, just wondering if a coaxial setup would be better.

It won't completely cut out, but if will definately not produce voice as well. Coaxials would produce voice better but you might possibly lose some bottom end. Idk too much about their stuff though.

yeah just wondering because for $100 for 2 pairs they seem decent... low sensitivity and no high end would severely throw me away though and I'm not looking to buy supertweets if I don't need them.

you need tweeters to go with the mids. AQ supertweeters have a built in cap for the xover...
