you cut off a magnet on an old junk speaker or sub and stacked it on top of another speaker's magnet or cut it in half and added it around the existing magnet....would it make the motor stronger?

Seeing how some manufacturers will use double or triple stacked magnets or neodymium..etc, wouldn't adding more magnets add to the strength? What could theoretically happen if anything?

 
Won't do anything. I have several mags off old subs/speakers on the side of my toolbox in my garage.
Ok thanks for reply. But if a manufacturer uses a larger magnet, doesn't have give the sub more force?

Yeah... check this link out. It shows the power handling of that tweeter. I'd just match the power no matter if you use the crossovers or not...

LOL - mine was a higher end model too - iirc deh-9300. Low mileage too, it was sitting around for year collecting dust.
