Pro Installer Help!!! LOC Problem?

I think my preouts on my HU are blown since i dont get any voltage reading from either the front or rear preouts (Pioneer 4600MP).

So I thought i would use an LOC as a temp solutuon until i get a new deck.

I wired the LOC by tapping into the rear speakers. Took out my DMM and tested the voltage, it showed 0.2-1 volts at 1/2 volume from both left and right rca outputs.

I wired up a RF 200.2 to my IDQ, the amp powerd up fine, but no output.

I tested the power wire and it shows 12volts with the car off (no probs here)

I tested the REM and it showed voltage and the amp powered on (so no probs here either)

Ground i believe is good too since its bolted to the chasis and paint scraped

I dont know what else to check or what the problem could be? any ideas?

ALSO, the LOC is adjustable and i messed around with that setting and still nothing.

bad amp? (bought it brand new from bestbuy today)

lol, yea

my IDQ sub was connected to it. then i tried my alpine 6x9 speakers too.

no output on either, and both are in working order.

hmm, i highly doubt it. But definately cant rule it out.

can locs fry amps? i have the cheapist one i think from walmart.

its a Tsunami LOC.

check the amps output with the dmm...Set voltage to AC, and touch the leads to the speaker outputs.

problem is solved. I had polarity issues with my LOC.
