printer help

i got a hp psc 1610 all in one printer/scanner/coppier/fax, its always worked fine then the other day when i went to print a page it said paper jammed i removed the paper properlly and hit ok and it said it was cleared and ready to print, so i tried to print it again even used a diff piece of paper same thing happend, it keeps doing it over and over, i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it continues to do it.

so what would the problem be i took it to circuit city and they said they dont know wow lots of help from them. so do you guys have any idea wat may be wrong there is no visable paper jam or anything in the way, so is it shot or the brain or w/e inside of it went.

anyone wanna buy it, might be an easy fix idk

Might be the rollers. how much **** you print out on that thing? You might want to try fanning the paper out before you put it in too. If you have another ream of paper try that. Jamming is not a driver issue, it's a hardware issue.

You can try contacting HP. Does the printer have warranty?

hp printers **** spend about 600 on a canon that uses toner instead of ink. you will save on your printing and it will last 4 times longer. only negative is photo printing. toner does shit for pictures. but clean the rollers like turd said lots of paper has clay in it use coffee filters and alcohol it works good to pull it off the parts

yea no matter what i do even when i just want to just scan something it takes paper into the printer and gets stuck half way its like its brain is shoot or something, no matter wat i do it just goes into a mood to print and jams up i have tried everything on hp's support site i am stumped

nope nvm it works on scanning it will scan but when i go to print it jams

It's a KR thread, so it's jackable. Search for the Hypnotic 15 thread and it was a guy with a gran prix that needed some pointers.

i have the opposite problem sometimes with my HP 5510 AIO

i try to print but it says it is out of paper when the tray is full

I was still riding around with that stuff in my car till last week. It's getting cold here so I more than likely won't till spring.

But to keep with the thread, really try those rollers.
