ok so i need a new alternator im trying to pull 2000 rms watts of rockford fosgate power outta my stock 100A and im thinkin its time for bigger

first for 2k watts what should i get? 200A? will 170A be fine?

i found this one right here...

2004 2005 2006 2.4 L TOYOTA CAMRY 240 AMP MECHMAN HIGH OUTPUT ALTERNATOR | eBay

that one does 140 idle and 240 driving for $367 is that a good price?

any help would be great on how i shud go on upgradeing whether its a rebuild on mine or buying a new one thanks guys

The Mechman 200 is the way i'd go,. but i've had a ton of success with DB electric alternators and it only cost about $235. I've heard more than one person on here say they **** but I've NEVER had a problem.. Also, you should really get two of the EXACT same batteries.( See dual batt tutorial in here) Hope i was helpful.

OOps, I just saw that you were selling those kinetics.. my bad. I wouldn't go with the red tops though. The yellow top d34/78 are relatively inexpensive, and their better suited for car audio applications.
