Depends what materials you have already..

I did it for the first time, so I didn't have any.

$12.00 wood

$4.00 screws

$10.00 silicone

$6.00 wood glue

$2.00 terminal

Carpet is obviously optional.. cost me $25.00 from crutchfield.. I'm sure it's cheaper in other places.

It depends where you live for the price of your box.A piece of MDF for me is 20$ and I use liquid nails instead of woodglue.

An average box for me is roughly 30$.That includes 1 sheet of MDF(20),1 liquid nails tube(2$),a small box of 2" screws(4$),and 1 silicone tube(4).

It depends were you live, mid-wisonsin its $50 a sheet (3/4" mdf) you go 20 miles south and its $15 a sheet. Thats why i use partical board alot more

well my 1st box was ok, but my second one was even better because i corrected all my first mistakes..

my first box took 10 hours to make.The second took about 2-3.third and fourth-1 1/2.

Building a box is easy once you know what not to do,and what order to do things in.

Home Depot has it here for $6.. a sheet of 3 x 4'
