pretty sure my sub is wired to 2 ohms right now.

Id like to wire it to 1 ohm on my apsm 1300 so i can run it at the 1k. its an obsidian 15 d2. so how exactly would i wire it? and what kinda extra strain would it put on my electrical if any? apsm does 600 at 2 and 1000 at 1. thanks in advance.

To wire it in 1 ohm, just connect all of the positives together, run them to the positive on the amp......then do the same for negatives. A d2 will do 1ohm that way-parallel. As far as strain, the load depends on the required amps needed to run it at 1k peak. Your looking at around a 32 amp draw on average.

usually to save wire, you'll connect both positives together and both negatives together at the subwoofer, then run a wire from one of the positive terminals and one of the negative terminals to the amp.

Ide set it for 800wrms, unless u usally turn ure volume to max then go for 750. I set my max for 25 but rarely am i above 22
