Pretty funny break up story

So i work at a hotel in the pool area as a lifeguard for now. Foot in the door with the company till something better opens up.

So im sitting on stand, making sure no kids drown(sp?) in the 4 and a half foot deep water..and this chick..probably around 28..walks next to my stand and is on the phone talking to her boyfriend. I can overhear everything shes saying.

Apparently the boyfriend had her on his bank account, and was like ok hunny just keep it under $1,000 this week and have a good time (i heard her say this later in the convo to the banker). So she says ok, orders a $12 beer, a $8 shot to go with it and asks for the check because right behind the hotel is Universal Studios and she was comming back to the pool later.

So she hands the server girl her card and goes back to the group of friends shes with. Server chick comes back, card is declined. So the chick walks back next to my stand and gets on the phone with his bank. Shes saying openly outloud SS numbers, account numbers, account passwords..everything to her bfs account. If i had a better memory i prob could have jacked this guys identity. After like 20 minutes of fighting with the banker, and cussing the whole time saying "Thats impossible! There was atleast $5k in there this morning when I checked!".

She was from Cali or something like that, just got to the hotel, bf said he would pay for the whole weekend and threw her his card. After she checked in and booked everything to be charged to the room, he cleaned out the account, and cancelled the card. Then called the hotel and since the room was registered in his name, checked her out over the phone an hour after she got there.

And ontop of that, cancelled her plane flight for the way home.
