premier 1000rms 3000max 12s vs fi ssd?

hey guys, looking to upgrade my tsw3001d4 champion pro 12s runing 1 ohm off a hifonics xxzeus 1800rms to them.. Ive just been looking at fi subs but ive never heard them.. would the low model ssd perform as far as spl compared? sq? I also have another question, just got this set up havnt bumped it for too long but i am running the stock battery and no cap or anything on a 04 subaru wrx and lights are dimming badly...will i gain in sound noticably with a cap?and what farad?
