Pre-out question...

Is there any differnece in the signal betweeen the a) pre-out on my eclipse 4 channel amp and the b) the non fader pre-out on my eclipse cd5000 hu? Aka are they the same signal?

I'm trying to figure out if I can just grab the signal for my mono amp from the 4 channel... or do I have to run another set of rcas?

If you use the non-fader preout from your HU, how will you control the sub volume?

If you send the preout from the 4ch amp over to your sub amp, how will the sub get its low pass input? Where is the crossover?

If it's in the HU, then you know what you have to do.
