me too i hated school but i liked math.... but i always forget how to do everything.. and this is the G/F's homework but since i don't know how to do it either if figured i should try and learn again

You are right, my gf f-ed up. She got -244 when it should have been -224. SHe tried to do it in her head. I will beat her for her mistake.

These are original equations

M = 20X(I) + 35X(II)

104 = 4X(I) + 2X(II)

56 = X(I) + 3X(II)

104 = 4X(I) + 2X(II)

-224 = -4X(I) - 12X(II) (this is the second equation multiplied by -4, so we can add the two equations together)

-120 = -10X(II)

12 = X(II)

Then plug X(II) into any of the above equations:

X(I) + 3(12) = 56

X(I) + 36 = 56

X(I) = 20

so M = 20(20) + 35(12) for a maximum profit of $820.

Correct?
